BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OKMULGEE COUNTY
RE: UPDATE 3/25/2020: Okmulgee County Courthouse Access.
OKMULGEE, OKLA - Effective immediately the Okmulgee County Courthouse is restricting access to the general public. The public access doors will now remain locked until further notice.
All offices remain operational. The public will be able to conduct their business via phone and/or the internet. If you must conduct business in person with an office within the courthouse, please call the office directly and schedule an appointment. Courthouse access will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Just a few minutes before your appointment time, go to the north public entrance of the Courthouse. You will be checked in by the Courthouse Security Deputy. Please advise the deputy of your appointment time and the office for which you have an appointment. The Courthouse Security Deputy will contact the office and inform them that you have arrived for your appointment. A representative of that office will escort you to a meeting area on the first floor of the Courthouse.
For your convenience a listing of phone numbers for all County offices has been posted on the north doors of the courthouse. Office phone numbers can also be found on the County's website OkmulgeeCounty.net
The Board of County Commissioners thanks the public for their patience and assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Temperatures are still being taken of anyone who enters the courthouse.
The Commissioners remind everyone to follow the CDC and Oklahoma State Department of Health COVID-19 Guidelines:
